PinPoint Lite vs Pro: which plan fits how you sell websites?

Both plans find businesses with no website and build their sites. The difference is how many sites you can build and where your client's money goes.

In short

PinPoint Lite gives you 20 template sites and 300 searches a month; your client pays through us, we keep 10% of the website price and 10% of each month of hosting, and we pay you the rest 7 days after the client pays. PinPoint Pro gives you 10 custom AI-designed sites, unlimited template sites and 1,000 searches a month; your client pays straight into your own Stripe account and we receive 5% and 5%. On both plans you set the price and keep the client.

What both plans do

  • Find real, open businesses near you that have no website.
  • Build a complete, mobile-ready site from the business's own Google listing.
  • Send a secure Stripe checkout link for the site, the domain and monthly hosting.
  • Register the domain, point it at the site and turn on the secure lock by itself when the client pays.
  • Keep every client, site, sale and payout in one place on your phone.

On both plans you set your own price for each website and its monthly hosting, as long as hosting is at least $24 a month. You keep the client, and the site carries your name.

PinPoint Lite

Lite includes 20 template sites and 300 searches a month. Your client's payment is made to us. We keep 10% of the website price and 10% of each month of hosting and send you the rest, less the card processing fee, 7 days after the client pays.

Lite fits you if you are starting out and want us to take the client's payment and pay you out.

PinPoint Pro

Pro includes 10 custom AI-designed sites, unlimited template sites and 1,000 searches a month. Your client pays straight into your own Stripe account. We receive 5% of the website price and 5% of each month of hosting.

Pro fits you if you sell often, want custom designs for bigger clients, and want the money in your own Stripe account.

A worked example

Say you sell a website for $500 with hosting at $50 a month. Those happen to be the median asking prices in Pindrop's own pricing study.

  • On Lite: we keep $50 of the $500 and $5 of each $50 month. You receive $450, then $45 a month, less card processing fees, 7 days after the client pays.
  • On Pro: we receive $25 of the $500 and $2.50 of each $50 month. The payment lands in your own Stripe account, and the card fees come out of your share.

How this compares with Pindrop

Pindrop's homepage says the client pays by card and 90% goes to your own Stripe every month, and its help center calls this the 90/10 split. The same help center says the client's subscription is with Pindrop. On PinPoint Pro the platform's share is 5%, and on Lite it is 10%. The full side-by-side is in PinPoint vs Pindrop.
